"Hearts"

When I first consulted with Jan, the bride, I noticed her wearing a necklace with a cross and a heart on it. I typically avoid "themey" things in my designs, but this seemed like something that would really suit Jan - "Hearts" roses and beargrass hearts, complete with red wire details. The red wire pushes it to a more modern look. Go here to see the coordinating cake.

Boutonniere: "Hearts" rose, Dendrobium Orchid,  Israeli Ruscus, Beargrass, and red aluminum wiring.

Here is a closer look at the fantastic texture of the "Hearts" rose.  It's a beautiful variety with a high petal count, deep color, and a large head.

This lovely lady was the mother of the groom, complemented by the dendrobium orchid and spray rose corsage.

Scott + Ami, part 1

I was so thrilled to be able to do the flowers for my brother, Scott, and his now-wife, Ami.
And we love having her in the family now!

Ami's colors were Royal blue, Aqua, and Yellow.
Since they were having the temple and luncheon on a separate day as the reception, I was able to make two different bouquets with two different looks.

Here is the first one:

White Peonies, light and dark Delphinium, Yellow Calla Lilies, Yarrow, Israeli Ruscus, Beargrass, Aqua Ribbon Loops

And the boutonniere:
Calla Lily, Delphinium, Israeli Ruscus, Beargrass, twine wrap
