Amid the Tempest, Dark and Wild

I couldn't not help myself to the beautifully wild, dark agonis and coral peach peonies! When I saw them, I knew I had to create something. I had so much fun playing with the visual weight on this one, the left being anchored by the volume of the pussy willow and the right being anchored by the dark and visually dense texture of the agonis.

A birthday arrangement

Yesterday was my lovely stepmom's birthday! Consequently, flowers were necessary.
Patti loves desert-y looking things,  so I paired some Agonis up with dusty pink Stock and Amnesia roses, black dahlias and seeded eucalyptus with a touch of pink ginestra and white dendrobium orchids.

 Happy Birthday Patti!

Proposal!!

My best friend and our talented web designer is engaged!
After being friends for 8 years and dating for two years, Sean finally proposed! I'm so happy and excited for her. They are such a great couple and we love them both!

So happy! Hannah's ring is also gorgeous. Its a delicate gold band with a brown diamond.

Of course, all good proposals require flowers.

A Rockstar Wedding

I was so excited about this.
Succulents are probably my favorite thing ever!
And I was so ecstatic about the white Kale and the Dark Dahlias and Agonis.
Also pictured: Football Mums, Diosma, Peacock Feathers

This bouquet with its dark, dramatic features would be perfect for a unique bride with a lot of character.
A rockstar wedding, perhaps.

A Centerpiece to match:
