Autumn Shoot with Annie

Thank you to Annie Hillam for being a wonderful model and graciously sitting through the bitter cold. And to David Miller for capturing such beauty and always giving us a good laugh in the process.

Of Autumnal things

I just can't get enough of these muted fall colors!
 Especially theses Chocolate Cosmos.
And the Liquid Amber.
And the tinted Hydrangea.
Okay, just everything!

Hobbit Feast

I bet you didn't know September 22nd was the official Hobbit Day, did you?
Or maybe you did, if you're as delightfully nerdy, such as we.

This was our second year holding our annual Hobbit Feast!
It's honestly one of the things I look forward to most every year. We always have such a merry time!

Here's pictures of the lovely party we had in my friend's vineyard.

Naturally, an early fall feast must feature some warm, dusty earth tones.
But I liked the idea of it still clinging to wisps of summers brightness.

(Oh yeah! And some carrots. Every hobbit feast needs carrots)
