A bit of Irish Countryside

This year for Habitat for Humanity's fundraiser breakfast, seeing as it was near St. Patrick's Day, they wanted to do a pot of gold theme. At first I was stumped as to how I was going to pull this off without it being kitschy or cheesy. I opted to do something mossy. Something resonant of Irish Countryside with gold accents.

We had so much fun creating these. I imagine the forest floor in Ireland looking just like these. I will be very much disappointed if, one day when I go there, it doesn't look like this.

Beauties, I tell you!

And for the buffet table...

Habitat for Humanity Fundraiser

Okay, so this post is long overdue. In March, as mentioned earlier, we were honored to be chosen by Habitat for Humanity to provide the centerpieces for their fundraiser breakfast.

Leann had said that she wanted it to be very springy and fresh and that they should be the colors of the Habitat for Humanity logo. Royal blue, white, and green. We used Delphinium, Green Button Poms, English Bells, Blue Anemones, White Tulips, White Waxflower, White Football Mums, Bells of Ireland, Waxflower and Curly Willow.

For the Buffet Table we used Green apples for a more striking visual effect, Bells of Ireland, Hybrid Delphinium, Curly WIllow, White Stargazer lilies and Israeli Ruscus.
